Kurt keeps the ball rolling on every project he touches. He builds strong relationships between the team, homeowners, and trade partners, and holds firm to a simple philosophy: quality before quantity.
Background
Boise born and raised, Kurt grew up wanting to be an engineer – until he realized just how much math was involved. He got his start in construction when he joined his brother-in-law as a carpenter, a role he stuck with for 23 years. He then spent 16 of those years running his own business. Through it all, what’s stuck with him is the pride that comes with standing back and admiring a finished product. Kurt joined Strite because he wanted to be part of a team again – putting heads together with people who share his commitment to doing the job right.

When Not Working
Kurt loves the outdoors more than almost anything – camping, fishing, and riding his bike top the list, and he’d much rather be outside than in front of a TV. Family comes first: he’s got a beautiful daughter and an awesome son, and he loves spending time with his kids and family, catching concerts together, and dreaming up the next adventure. One goal on his bucket list – finally making it up to Canada.
