COVID-19 Response
To our customers, trade partners, and team members,
As we continue to navigate through the uncertain challenges of COVID-19, we’d like to share an update on how Strite design + remodel is responding. The safety and health of our community, including our staff and customers, is our number one priority.
We are following recommendations from local authorities on social distancing and limiting public gatherings.
Here are the steps we are taking:
For our clients:
- Increasing cleaning supplies at our office and create a schedule of cleaning times/responsibilities throughout each day
- Providing extra cleaning supplies for our project managers to distribute to job sites and institute use by Strite employees and all trades
- Communicating with clients and colleagues via email, phone, and teleconferencing when possible
- Requesting more efficient trips for materials to reduce unnecessary exposure to public spaces
- Encouraging all staff and trades to stay home when sick and communicate with Strite administration immediately if they are concerned they might be experiencing symptoms of COVID-19
- If we become aware of a staff member or trades person that is symptomatic or tested positive for COVID-19 you will be notified immediately and the Strite administration team will coordinate a plan for the next steps in your project
For our trades partners:
- Increasing cleaning supplies at our office and create a schedule of cleaning times/responsibilities throughout each day
- Providing extra cleaning supplies for our project managers to distribute to job sites and institute use by Strite employees and all trades
- Our expectation is that the cleanliness of a job site or office space should not be the responsibility of one person alone, rather, we all need to work together to enforce a sanitary environment for all
- Communicating with clients that we are taking extra precautions when we are in their home to create a clean environment
- Communicating with clients and colleagues via email, phone, and teleconferencing when possible
- Requesting more efficient trips for materials to reduce unnecessary exposure to public spaces
- Increasing documentation and/or communication with an SDR rep about specific job information so there is not an “information gap” in the event that an employee is absent for a period of time
For our team members:
- Increasing cleaning supplies at our office and create a schedule of cleaning times/responsibilities throughout each day
- Providing extra cleaning supplies for our project managers to distribute to job sites and institute use by Strite employees and all trades; we just received our new job site safety boxes that are at the shop. They can be turned into our job site cleanliness station so please get one to every job site and make sure that hand sanitizer and Clorox wipes are included
- Being open to arrangements for alternate work environments, when possible, i.e. working from home or at the shop
- Increasing documentation and/or communication with management about specific job information so there is not an “information gap” in the event that an employee is absent for a period of time
- Offering two weeks paid sick leave if a staff member tests positive for COVID-19
Please stay safe and healthy,
From all of us at Strite design + remodel
